MB2 Dental Solutions announced that it was entering Hawaii with the purchase of Hawaii Endodontics.
Hawaii Endodontics is a three-location dental practice that rovides a full range of dental services, from routine care and X-rays to more critical care, including emergency dental services, root canal therapy, endodontic surgery and vital tooth therapy. According to its website, there are eight physicians on staff.
MB2 Dental Solutions, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners since February 2021, partners with dentists and specialists. Founded in 2007, MB2 offers general dentistry services, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. In November 2024, Warburg Pincus invested $525 million into the company.
According to the February 11 press release, this acquisition brings MB2 Dental into its 45th state. The financial terms were not disclosed. This also marks MB2 Dental’s third transaction of 2025, acquiring four additional dental practices.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 57th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the 21th in the dental specialty. There were 242 dental transactions announced in 2024.
