Abound Health announced on February 13 that it entered a strategic partnership with Star Pediatrics, a New Jersey-based pediatric home health provider. Abound Health acquired Star Pediatrics in a deal that was effective February 7, 2025.

Star Pediatrics specializes in delivering in-home care to children with complex medical needs, supporting both the child and their family. The company is based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

Abound Health is a provider of healthcare solutions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, the company operates in multiple states and serves thousands of individuals annually.

This acquisition expands Abound Health’s services to include pediatric patients with complex medical needs, complementing its existing I/DD care services such as residential support, day programs and behavioral health interventions. The acquisition also strengthens Abound Health’s position in the Northeast market, complementing its existing operations in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
