On January 27, Epiphany Dermatology announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire Town Square Dermatology.
Based in Coralville, Iowa, Town Square Dermatology provides the full spectrum of dermatological services. According to the press release, there are three providers on staff: Dr. Kristi Robson, Dr. Hobart Walling and Dr. Heather Ciliberto.
Through its partnerships with dermatologists in 99 locations in 16 states, Epiphany Dermatology provides general dermatology, skin cancer care, MOHS surgery, cosmetic services and additional dermatologic services. Epiphany Dermatology is a portfolio company of New York City-based private equity firm CI Capital Partners.
According to the original deal press release from January 27, 2025, this transaction marks Epiphany Dermatology’s third partnership in Coralville, and its seventh in Iowa. It is also Epiphany Dermatology’s 100th clinic nationwide. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 33rd Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the first in the dermatology specialty. Throughout the entirety of 2024, there were 23 dermatology transactions reported. In 2024, Epiphany Dermatology completed eight transactions.
