Innovate 32, formed and backed by Chicago-based private equity firm Shore Capital Partners, announced that it acquired Bivens Dentistry.
Bivens Dentistry is based in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and provides a full suite of general dentistry and cosmetic services. According to its website, there is one physician on staff: Dr. Shaun Bivens.
Innovate 32 is a growth-oriented dental services organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. Under the leadership of Josh Johnson, CEO, and Innovate’s Board of Directors, Innovate 32 is forming partnerships with dental practices throughout the South and Mid-Atlantic.
This transaction marks Innovate 32’s first acquisition of 2025. The financial terms were not disclosed. In 2024, Innovate 32 acquired two practices; Rachel Johnson & Associates in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Marion Dental Group in Lady Lake and Ocala, Florida.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 34th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the 12th in the dental specialty. There were 242 dental transactions reported in 2024, and 180 reported in 2023.
