Optima Health announced on January 16 that it has acquired BHSF Occupational Health for £1.4 million (approximately $1.7 million USD).
The acquisition will expand Optima’s customer base and add 60 occupational health clinicians to its team.
BHSF Occupational Health is a United Kingdom-based company specializing in preventing work-related illnesses and injuries, safeguarding workers from occupational hazards and promoting overall workplace health and safety. According to the original deal press release from January 16, the business generated £8.3 million (approximately $10.1 million USD) in revenue, £3 million (nearly $3.7 million USD) in gross profit and a pre-tax loss of £400,000 (approximately $488,000 USD).
Optima Health is a United Kingdom-based provider of corporate health and wellbeing solutions that help organizations and their people by managing their health.

Optima Health sees potential to grow the business and is actively seeking additional bolt-on acquisitions to enhance its portfolio. The transaction is expected to close by the end of January 2025.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the first occupational health deal of 2025. There were 11 occupational health transactions announced during 2024, 19 announced during 2023 and 10 announced during 2022.
