Plano, Texas-based LiquidAgents Healthcare has announced the acquisition of all travel nursing assets from Irving, Texas-based Republic Health Resources, which specializes in connecting healthcare professionals with opportunities across the United States. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Republic Health Resources will remain a standalone brand, operating independently. As part of a strategic shift, Republic is exiting the travel nursing and allied business. 

LiquidAgents Healthcare is a healthcare staffing agency with more than two decades of experience in placing qualified nursing and allied professionals in travel, staff and local positions, among others. LiquidAgents combines full-service recruiters with a career platform that shows candidates full job and pay transparency upfront. 

Republic Health Resources healthcare professionals will be able to seamlessly transition into the LiquidAgents network and take advantage of the comprehensive benefits offered. In addition, the company will have access to thousands of jobs nationwide that are updated in real-time, some of the industry’s top pay packages, concierge-level service and more. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 18th healthcare staffing transaction of 2024. Other acquirers in the space this year have been SVC Group, Olympus Partners, MedSource Travelers, GQR, GHR Healthcare, Knox Lane, ShiftMed, Arthur Lawrence, Aya Healthcare, HCA Healthcare, Triage, Altrix Technology and Advanced Care Group. There were 29 healthcare staffing deals announced during 2023, and 35 announced during 2022.
