On November 11, Zenyth Partners’ portfolio company, Helping Hands Family, announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire Mission Autism Clinics for an undisclosed price.

Founded in 2019, Mission Autism Clinics operates 13 applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy clinics across Pennsylvania and Maryland. The provider offers in-center ABA therapy for children ages 2 to 6 and home, school and community-based care for children, teens and young adults.

Helping Hands Family is a provider of clinic-, home- and school-based ABA and related services to children impacted by autism spectrum disorder. The company serves more than 25 markets with more than 500 clinicians based in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic United States. It was founded by Zenyth Partners in 2019.

Helping Hands Family’s takeover of Mission Autism Clinics adds to its existing presence in Maryland and Pennsylvania. The acquisition brings Helping Hands Family’s footprint to 38 locations, according to each company’s website.

In the immediate future, Helping Hands Family plans to maintain each company’s patient services and employee roles. Mission Autism Clinics’ locations and teams will remain intact. The company will later expand staff resources and support structures, new training opportunities, operational improvements and extended staff. Mission Autism Clinics locations will eventually be rebranded to the Helping Hands Family identity.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 55th Behavioral Health Care transaction of 2024, and the ninth in the autism spectrum disorder treatment provider specialty. This is Helping Hands Family’s first acquisition in the LevinPro HC database.
