Health In Motion, part of the Confluent Health family, has announced the acquisition of Wisconsin-based Spooner and Hayward Physical Therapy & Wellness (SHPT).
SHPT is a therapist-owned physical therapy practice providing care to patients in Spooner, Wisconsin and Hayward, Wisconsin.
Health In Motion is a private physical therapy practice group. The company owns 11 clinics across Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
Confluent Health, a portfolio company of Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group, is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapy companies at the forefront of advancing musculoskeletal solutions.
This partnership will allow SHPT to maintain its same quality of clinical care while benefiting from Confluent Health’s robust management services, talent acquisition support, business development, educational offerings and clinic optimization resources.
SHPT will also gain access to additional resources, including premier partnerships with Confluent Health clients and vendors, access to Confluent’s hybrid care platform called mōviHealth, PTPN network, access to Evidence in Motion’s continuing education courses and graduate health programs, as well as employee safety solutions from Fit For Work. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 36th Rehabilitation acquisition of the year. There were 51 Rehabilitation deals announced during 2023, and 82 announced during 2022.
