Toronto, Canada-based Fullscript has announced the acquisition of Rupa Health, a San Francisco, California-based company that helps practitioners order, track and manage more than 3,000 laboratory tests in a single interface.
Launched in 2020, Rupa Health’s platform modernizes the logistics of lab work by integrating test ordering, results management and patient communication for clinics across the United States. This makes it easier for healthcare providers to access a wide range of diagnostic tools and deliver more personalized care. Today, the company serves tens of thousands of clinics.
Founded in 2011, Fullscript provides supplement delivery and virtual care tools for integrative medicine practitioners and their patients. Fullscript’s software allows integrated medicine practitioners to write virtual treatment plans, dispense supplements and provide adherence tools and evidence-based resources to their patients. The company provides more than 100,000 providers and 10 million patients access to personalized and effective care. In November 2021, private equity firms HGGC and Snapdragon Capital Partners made an approximately $240 million strategic growth investment in Fullscript.
By combining Rupa Health’s best-in-class lab and educational platform with Fullscript’s whole person care platform, Fullscript will be able to quickly scale and expand its comprehensive platform for whole person care. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
