Align ENT + Allergy, a portfolio company of New York-based investment firm Zenyth Partners, announced that it was expanding its services in the Greater Philadelphia area with the acquisition of Vernose & McGrath ENT Associates. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Vernose & McGrath ENT Associates is an ear, nose & throat (ENT) practice that offers otolaryngology, facial plastic surgery and head and neck surgery services. It has locations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Marlton and Turnersville, New Jersey. According to its website, there are four providers on staff.
Founded in 2022, Align ENT + Allergy is a management services organization (MSO) supporting a community of physician-led ENT and allergy practices. Align provides non-clinical support services to private practices through a true partnership model, whereby partners gain the advantages of a professionalized MSO while retaining local control so that they can focus on providing care within their communities.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 350th Physician Medical Group transaction of the year, and the seventh in the ENT specialty. This is also Align ENT + Allergy’s third acquisition of 2024. Previously, the company acquired practices in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
