PM Pediatric Care announced that it acquired 10 pediatric urgent care centers in Florida from Pediatrix Medical Group.
The acquired assets include 10 urgent care locations in the Greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Melbourne and Port St. Lucie areas. The offices were formerly known as Night Lite Pediatrics prior to their 2022 acquisition by Pediatrix Medical Group.
PM Pediatric Care is one of the largest pediatric urgent care providers for children and young adults in the United States. Staffed by teams experienced in caring for ill and injured children, including board-certified pediatric emergency physicians and pediatricians, PM’s urgent care sites offer pediatric imaging, lab testing on site, wound suturing, concussion care, IV treatment for dehydration, oxygen and nebulizer treatment and other high acuity services. With a national network of nearly 90 offices across 15 states, the company also offers telemedicine and mental health services.
The acquired clinics will now be called PM Pediatric Urgent Care. The Florida locations join PM’s three existing locations in Southern Florida and will be open 365 days a year with extended hours. The expansion will also bring the availability of PM Pediatric Care’s pediatric mental and behavioral health services to the broader community. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the ninth urgent care transaction of 2024. There were 14 urgent care deals announced during 2023, and 23 announced during 2022.
