Health Catalyst, Inc. announced that it has successfully completed its acquisition of Boston-based Carevive Systems.
Carevive Systems, founded in 2013, is an oncology-focused health technology company dedicated to understanding and improving the cancer patient experience. Its platform enables providers to monitor and manage patients remotely, which improves survival outcomes and patient quality of life. Use of Carevive in the clinic unlocks critical data on the real-world cancer patient experience to continuously improve patient care today and advance cancer drug development.
Health Catalyst is a data warehousing, analytics and outcomes-improvement company that helps healthcare organizations of all sizes perform the clinical, financial and operational reporting and analysis needed for population health and accountable care.
In combination with Carevive, Health Catalyst will have a strengthened ability to support care and process improvement in oncology and gain new insight into patient-reported outcomes and oncology registry data. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 102nd eHealth transaction of 2024 and the 10th in the remote patient monitoring specialty.
This also marks Health Catalyst’s first acquisition of the year, and its third since February 2022. The company has previously acquired KPI Ninja, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based provider of interoperability solutions and population health analytics, and Electronic Registry Systems, a cancer registry compliance and informatics services provider in Cincinnati, Ohio.
