Access Physical Therapy & Wellness (also called Access PT) announced that it has partnered with Kentucky-based Confluent Health. This marks Confluent Health’s 16th acquisition since May 2019.
Access PT provides physical, occupations, pelvic health and hand therapy in 66 locations in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York and North Carolina.
Confluent Health, a portfolio company of Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group, is a family of physical and occupational therapy companies transforming healthcare by strengthening private practices, developing highly effective clinicians, innovating new services and technology to improve the quality of care for patients and lowering costs via more effective treatment, workplace wellness and injury prevention.
Patients of Access PT will continue to see the same clinical teams and the name will stay the same. Confluent Health will provide Access PT with access to an expanded suite of resources, including management services, advanced education, and musculoskeletal health tools. It also offers marketing, recruitment, financial services and digital solutions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 17th Rehabilitation transaction of 2024. There were 51 Rehabilitation deals announced during 2023 and 82 announced during 2022.
