According to a April 1 press release, Eye Physicians of Libertyville has acquired Northern Illinois Eye Clinic. Effective March 28, 2024, Eye Physicians of Libertyville doctors have assumed care for Northern Illinois Eye Clinic patients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Northern Illinois Eye Clinic is a specialty ophthalmology clinic located in Mundelein, Illinois, serving Long Grove, Lake Zurich, Vernon Hills, Wauconda, Grayslake and Libertyville, Illinois.
Eye Physicians of Libertyville is a state-of-the-art ophthalmology clinic established in 1993. According to its website, the practice has two providers on staff.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 10th health clinic deal of 2024. There were 39 health clinic transactions announced during 2023, and 25 announced during 2022.
