Lone Peak Dental Group announced that it acquired Zoo Crew Pediatric Dentistry, a seven-provider dental practice based in the Nashville, Tennessee MSA.
Zoo Crew Pediatric Dentistry provides specialized pediatric care and personalized dental care to patients from its four locations in the Nashville MSA which are Hermitage, Mount Juliet, Cookeville and Lebanon.
Founded in 2003 by two pediatric dentists, Lone Peak Dental Group is a dental services organization focusing on the pediatric market segment. The company has 69 offices spanning 14 states. As of February 2024, it is backed by investment firm BlackRock as well as the Memorial Hermann Health System.
With this acquisition, Lone Peak Dental Group extends its presence into Tennessee, marking its expansion into a total of 14 states and further broadening its outreach to underserved communities. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This marks Lone Peak Dental Group’s first acquisition of 2024 as well as its first transaction since BlackRock and the Memorial Hermann Health System invested in the company.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 126th Physician Medical Group (PMG) deal of 2024, and the 59th in the dental specialty.
