Constellation Software announced that its subsidiary N. Harris Computer Corporation has acquired MEDHOST, Inc., headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee.
MEDHOST is a provider of electronic health record (EHR) solutions designed specifically for the needs of ambulatory care providers. Its offerings include physician practice management, clinical documentation and reporting and patient engagement tools.
N. Harris Computer Corporation develops software solutions for customers in the utility, public sector and schools group, and healthcare group businesses in North America.
This acquisition aligns with Harris’ long-term commitment to the healthcare sector. By adding MEDHOST to its portfolio, Harris expands its reach and strengthens its position as a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare industry. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 273rd eHealth acquisition of 2023, and the 15th in the EHR specialty. This is a 25% decrease from 2022 when there were 20 EHR transactions announced.
