Ascension announced that it was selling two Texas clinics to Waco Family Medicine. According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 37th health clinic acquisition of 2023.
The clinics consist of a midwifery clinic in Waco and a general health clinic in Hillsboro. The midwifery Clinic is located at the Ascension Providence Hospital and has four midwives on staff.
Waco Family Medicine provides a wide variety of healthcare services out of 17 locations in Texas, all in the Waco MSA.
Both clinics will remain in their current locations, and all current services will continue to be offered. The press release said that there are plans to expand services offered at both clinics. The financial terms were not disclosed.
