PhyNet Dermatology LLC announced that it expanded its presence in California with the acquisition of the Center for Dermatology Cosmetic and Laser Surgery.
With two locations in the Bay Area, in Fremont and Milpitas, California, the Center for Dermatology Cosmetic and Laser Surgery has been one of the leading dermatology facilities in the community since 1965. According to its website, the practice has three providers on staff.
PhyNet Dermatology is a dermatology practice management company headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee. With more than 280 network providers at 115 locations in 17 states, PhyNet Dermatology offers administrative management and support that enables physicians to focus their efforts on providing patient care. It is a portfolio company of Century Equity Partners.
This acquisition brings PhyNet Dermatology to 21 locations in California. As part of the affiliation, the Center for Dermatology Cosmetic and Laser Surgery will gain access to PhyNet Dermatology’s extensive resources, including advanced technology and business operations support. This will allow the practice to continue focusing on providing a world-class experience to its patients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 475th Physician Medical Groups, and the 26th in the dermatology specialty. This transaction is also PhyNet Dermatology’s fifth transaction of 2023. Throughout the year, the company expanded its presence in Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada and California and added more than 30 physicians to its network.
