The Dermatology Specialists, based in New York City, announced its acquisition of Wilmington, Delaware-based Delaware Valley Dermatology.
Led by Dr. Michael Saruk, MD, FAAD, Delaware Valley Dermatology has been providing dermatologic care for more than two decades. Dr. Saruk, according to the practice’s website, is supported by a staff of two employees.
The Dermatology Specialists was established in 2019 and has since grown to become one of the largest dermatology groups in New York City. With more than 100 providers. The company cares for more than 500,000 patients each year out of more than 40 locations. It offers a comprehensive range of medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology services.
This marks The Dermatology Specialists’ first acquisition of the year. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 404th Physician Medical Groups acquisition of the year, and the 20th deal in the dermatology specialty.
