American Medical Administrators (AMA) announced on August 29 its acquisition of Kennett Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, P.C. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Kennett Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine operates out of one location in Kennett, Missouri. It has one physician on staff, Dr. Andrew Beach.
AMA is a healthcare services company focused on the development and commercialization of providing greater access to healthcare for underserved communities across America. The company offers walk-in urgent care services combined with traditional family practice medicine and multi-specialty ambulatory surgical services.
This marks AMA’ fourth transaction in 2023. Previously, it purchased Georgia Vascular Specialists, Manzer Family Medicine and Probst OB/GYN Services.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 369th Physician Medical Groups transaction of the year, and the eighth in the pediatrics specialty.
