Heartland Dental, a portfolio company of private equity firm KKR & Co. Inc., has announced its acquisition of Implant & General Dentistry of Northern Colorado.
Implant & General Dentistry of Northern Colorado operates out of one Loveland, Colorado office. According to its website, the practice has three physicians on staff.
Heartland Dental is a dental support organization providing non-clinical, administrative support services with more than 2,600 doctors in more than 1,650 locations across 38 states.
The addition of the Loveland practice expands Heartland Dental’s foothold in Colorado. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 366th Physician Medical Groups transaction of 2023, and the 122nd in the dental specialty. This is also the fourth practice to be purchased by Heartland Dental in 2023. Previously, it acquired Glendale Aesthetic Dentistry in Arizona, Thorn Run Dental Care in Pennsylvania and Kandor Dental in Florida.
