Dental Care Alliance (DCA), a portfolio company of Harvest Partners, announced that it acquired Dental Health Associates of Virginia for an undisclosed price.
Dental Health Associates offers full-service dental care with clinics in five Shenandoah Valley locations, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Dayton, Fishersville and Lexington, Virginia. According to its website, the practice is run by six providers.
Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, DCA is a multi-branded dental support organization with more than 400 affiliated dental offices and 900 dentists across 22 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under over 150 brands.
This affiliation continues DCA’s rapid growth and expansion. It also brings DCA’s footprint in Virginia to 63 allied practices, and DCA’s total footprint to more than 400 allied practices across the country.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 345th Physician Medical Groups acquisition of 2023, 109 of them in the dental specialty. This is also DCA’s 10th acquisition of 2023, adding more than 40 physicians to its network.
