US Digestive Health, a portfolio company of Amulet Capital Partners, is partnering with Pennsylvania-based Blair Gastroenterology Associates.
Established in 1980, Blair Gastroenterology Associates consists of a team of physicians specializing in disorders and diseases of the digestive system, which include the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, gallbladder, liver and pancreas. The practice provides a full range of gastroenterology services through its two office locations and surgery center in central Pennsylvania. According to its website, Blair Gastro has more than 100 employees including seven board certified gastroenterologists.
US Digestive Health was formed in May 2019 through the acquisition and merger of Regional GI, Main Line Gastroenterology Associates and Digestive Disease Associates. US Digestive Health consists of 33 locations, 19 ambulatory surgery centers, more than 225 GI providers and more than 1100 employees throughout southeastern, central and southwestern Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
A team from Provident Healthcare Partners advised Blair Gastroenterology Associates. McNees Wallace & Nurick served as legal counsel to Blair Gastro and Sheppard Mullin served as legal counsel to US Digestive Health. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
