Panoramic Health announced on July 18 that it entered into an agreement to acquire San Antonio Kidney Disease Center (SAKDC).
SAKDC offers free classes on kidney health, diet and disease prevention, facilitated by full-time educators. With a team of 24 physicians on staff, SAKDC operates out of 20 office locations in the San Antonio, Texas MSA, as well as 30 dialysis centers. It is affiliated with 15 hospitals.
Panoramic Health is a physician-led kidney care organization based in Tempe, Arizona. Panoramic Health’s Clinical Research division partners with sponsors and clinical research organizations to bring treatments to patients with kidney disease.
This transaction represents Panoramic Health’s fourth acquisition of 2023 and its sixth within the last 12 months. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 311th Physician Medical Groups acquisition of 2023, and the seventh in the nephrology specialty.
