ARC Health, a Thurston Group portfolio company, has announced the acquisition of California-based Positive Change Counseling Center (PCCC). According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 25th Behavioral Health Care acquisition of the year, and the seventh in the counseling specialty.
PCCC is a leading mental health practice in the San Diego and Ventura MSAs. Founded in 2006, PCCC has grown into four clinic locations, offering both in-person therapy and telehealth services.
ARC Health is a mental health specialty services organization supporting psychiatry, psychology and therapy providers in multiple locations throughout the United States. ARC was formed in 2021 in partnership with outpatient mental health provider Advanced Recovery Concepts. The company has more than 320 providers throughout its partner locations nationwide.
The partnership with ARC Health will enable PCCC to access additional resources and support to further develop their practice and expand their reach throughout the region. PCCC’s commitment to clinical autonomy and evidence-based treatment aligns with ARC Health’s vision for mental healthcare, making it a great addition to the company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
