MB2 Dental Solutions announced a new partnership with Mendota Dental Associates, further expanding the dental partnership organization’s presence in the Midwest. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Mendota Dental Associates provides general dentistry services and will continue operating under its established local brand following the partnership. It is based in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
MB2 Dental Solutions, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners since February 2021, partners with dentists and specialists. It supports more than 1,900 physicians. Founded in 2007, MB2 offers general dentistry services, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. In November 2024, Warburg Pincus made an investment in the company.
The transaction continues MB2 Dental’s acquisition strategy within the fragmented dental services market. MB2 Dental has remained among the most active consolidators in the dental sector as competition for established independent practices continues across the broader physician practice management market.
