Epiphany Dermatology announced that Midlothian Dermatology has joined the organization, expanding Epiphany’s presence in the Virginia market. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
Midlothian Dermatology provides medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services in the Richmond, Virginia. The practice will now operate as part of Epiphany Dermatology’s broader platform, which supports affiliated dermatologists with operational, administrative and growth resources while maintaining physician-led clinical care models.
Austin, Texas-based Epiphany Dermatology operates more than 120 locations across 18 states and offers services including general dermatology, Mohs surgery, skin cancer treatment and cosmetic dermatology. It has been a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners since 2022.
The company has announced multiple physician practice partnerships in 2026, including expansions in Missouri and New Jersey, as dermatology platforms continue pursuing geographic density and specialty scale through physician group consolidation.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 208th Physician Medical Group (PMG) acquisition of 2026, and the 13th in the dermatology specialty. Throughout 2025, 521 PMG deals were reported, and 32 in the dermatology specialty.
