HealthVerity has completed its acquisition of Symphony Health Solutions Corporation, a leading commercial healthcare data business formerly owned by ICON plc. The deal integrates Symphony’s commercial insights and large-scale datasets with HealthVerity’s privacy-protected real-world clinical data and patient identity solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The combined platform creates a unified, AI-ready environment that connects clinical and commercial data sources, delivering a comprehensive view of patients and providers. HealthVerity specializes in privacy-protected real-world data exchange, while Symphony Health brings deep commercial analytics experience. Together they address longstanding fragmentation in healthcare data by reducing the need for multiple contracts, integrations and reconciliations.
The transaction strengthens HealthVerity’s position as a leader in scalable healthcare data solutions for life sciences, government, payers and analytics organizations. Andrew Kress continues as CEO of the combined company. Evercore served as financial advisor and Blank Rome LLP as legal advisor to HealthVerity.
“With the Symphony Health acquisition, our focus turns to executing with speed and discipline as we usher in an era of unprecedented access to patient-centric data with the depth and breadth capable of driving the next generation of insights and analytics,” said Andrew Kress, Chief Executive Officer at HealthVerity. “Now the real work begins to help drive our clients to a higher level of success.”
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 84th eHealth acquisition of 2026, and the seventh in the analytics specialty. There were 38 analytic transactions reported in 2025, and 30 reported in 2024.
