CareTria, a Lakewood, New Jersey-based therapy initiation partner backed by Frazier Healthcare Partners, has acquired CaryHealth, an AI-powered digital pharmacy.

CaryHealth provides digital patient engagement, prescription fulfillment, and analytics infrastructure, including telehealth capabilities, to support pharmaceutical manufacturers and patients. The deal combines CareTria’s provider network, automated benefit investigation and multi-modal fulfillment with CaryHealth’s AI-driven onboarding and engagement tools to create an integrated direct-to-patient pharmacy platform focused on faster therapy starts and adherence.

Terms were not disclosed. CareTria, formerly known as Knipper Health prior to its rebrand and Frazier backing, continues building out capabilities in digital enrollment and dispensing.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, there have been six Specialty Pharmacy acquisitions announced since the start of the year. Other acquirers in the space this year include Apotex (acquired Cumberland Pharmaceuticals), Pharma Fusion (acquired Columbia Pharmacy), Noom (acquired Tailor Made Compounding), Cigna (acquired CarepathRx) and CS One (acquired Partners Pharmacy Services). There were 23 Specialty Pharmacy transactions announced in 2025, and 28 announced in 2024.
