Barton Associates, Inc., a leading locum tenens staffing and workforce solutions provider based in Peabody, Massachusetts, has acquired LocumsCollective, a Salt Lake City, Utah-based managed service provider (MSP) focused on the locum tenens industry. The acquisition advances Barton’s evolution from traditional locum tenens staffing into a broader workforce solutions provider.
LocumsCollective’s founder, Matt Bennett, will continue to lead the business as President. Financial terms were not disclosed.
LocumsCollective operates a differentiated, outcomes-focused MSP model that helps healthcare organizations more effectively access and manage locum tenens talent through quality, transparency and streamlined execution.
Barton Associates, with more than 25 years of experience, connects hospitals, health systems and clinics nationwide with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, CRNAs, dentists and other providers across a wide range of specialties.
The deal accelerates Barton’s platform expansion in comprehensive workforce solutions, building on its 2022 acquisition by H.I.G. Capital. The combined entity will emphasize improved match quality, reduced friction, transparent communication and measurable value across the locum tenens ecosystem.
