Superior Health Holdings announced on April 28 that it acquired Chant Healthcare. Terms were not disclosed.
Chant Healthcare is a Southeastern Oklahoma-based provider of home health, homecare, and hospice services, operating through Compassion Home Care and Sans Bois Hospice. Chant serves patients across 11 Oklahoma counties.
Superior Health Holdings is a provider of home health and hospice services throughout Louisiana. The company is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and offers skilled nursing care, therapy services and home health aides. Superior was formed in 2021 as an aggregation of several agencies providing similar services throughout Louisiana and has since grown both organically and through strategic acquisitions. It is backed by Renovus Capital Partners.
Agenda Health acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Chant in connection with the transaction. The acquisition expands Superior’s geographic reach and service mix, establishing an adjacent-state presence in Oklahoma with a platform well-positioned for further expansion toward Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 38th Home Health & Hospice acquisition of the year, and the 10th in the home hospice & palliative care subsector. Throughout 2025, 23 home hospice & palliative care deals were reported.
