Optigy, based in Sarasota, Florida, announced in an April 7 press release that it acquired StaffHealth. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2012, StaffHealth is a temporary healthcare staffing platform. The company is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Based in Sarasota, Florida, Optigy Group is a healthcare staffing provider focused on locum tenens, recruitment process outsourcing, direct hire and executive search.
The deal expands Optigy’s single-source model by adding PRN staffing to its existing capabilities, which include locum tenens, permanent placement, retained search, recruitment process outsourcing and workforce strategy. Once the transaction is complete, StaffHealth will be called StaffHealth, an Optigy Company.
This marks Optigy’s second acquisition of 2026; in January, it purchased TempMD, a healthcare staffing agency based in Memphis, Tennessee.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the seventh healthcare staffing transaction of the year. Throughout 2025, 23 healthcare staffing acquisitions were announced, and there were 26 in 2024.
