Premier Radiology Services announced the acquisition of Global Imaging Solutions, also called GLOBIS. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Global Imaging Solutions, also called GLOBIS, is a teleradiology group providing subspecialty imaging interpretations to outpatient imaging centers and orthopedic practices and physician-owned groups. The physician-founded company delivers approximately 350,000 reads annually.

Founded in 2006, Premier Radiology Services is one of the top independent teleradiology solutions in the United States. Premier provides reliable and accurate interpretations of medical images to patients in 48 states through its technology-enabled platform. With a network of more than 165 radiologists, Premier offers 24/7 coverage across various modalities and subspecialties, including musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, cardiology and women’s imaging. The company was acquired by private equity firm Grovecourt Capital Partners in June 2023.

The addition of GLOBIS further expands Premier’s subspecialized capabilities and strengthens its ability to support advanced diagnostic imaging needs nationwide. Dr. Jack Considine, M.D., CEO and Co-Founder of GLOBIS, and his team will join Premier following the acquisition, ensuring continuity for GLOBIS’ customers and physicians, and further strengthening Premier’s operations and clinical talent.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 27th Laboratories, MRI and Dialysis transaction of the year, and the ninth in the laboratories subsector. Throughout all of 2025, there were 138 Laboratories, MRI and Dialysis transactions, 41 of them in the laboratories subsector.
