ReFocus Eye Health, a portfolio company of investment firm Zenyth Partners, announced it was expanding its presence with the acquisition of Omni Ophthalmic Management Consultants (OOMC).
OOMC is a practice providing a full range of specialty ophthalmology services for the advanced treatment of eye diseases. The practice operates 20 locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. According to its website, it has 67 physicians on staff. Additionally, OOMC operates several ambulatory surgery centers.
ReFocus Eye Health is an eye care management services organization supporting a leading network of comprehensive ophthalmology and retina practices.
According to the press release, with this new affiliation, ReFocus now supports more than 230 affiliated physicians across more than 100 locations spanning Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This marks ReFocus’ first acquisition of the year. The financial terms were not disclosed.
“We have a deep respect for the ReFocus-affiliated physicians in our community, and we have long admired what they have built with ReFocus,” said Dr. Christopher Quinn, Executive Chairman of OOMC. “We’re thrilled to now be partnering with them and are excited by what we can accomplish as an integrated organization.”
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this represents the 119th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2026, and the third in the eye care specialty. Throughout 2025, 34 eye care transactions were reported.
