On March 10, Intune Physical Therapy announced that it acquired Spero Rehab. Terms were not disclosed.

Spero Rehab, based out of seven locations in Texas, is a physical and occupational therapy provider. Additionally, it provides aquatic therapy, personal training and orthopedic rehab. The company was founded in 2010.

Intune Physical Therapy is a leader in outpatient physical therapy, focused on delivering personalized, evidence-based care while supporting clinicians and community-based practices through sustainable growth. Intune is a portfolio company of Highland Ventures, a family-owned, national venture management company.

This marks Intune Physical Therapy’s second acquisition of the year. In January, Intune purchased Epic Physical Therapy, based in six North Carolina locations.

According to data captured in the LevinPro, this deal represents the 10th Rehabilitation transaction of the year. There were 49 Rehabilitation deals announced in 2025, and 47 announced in 2024.
