Dovida has entered the United States with the acquisition of A Place At Home, according to a February 25 press release. The acquisition marks Dovida’s expansion into its seventh market and its first in North America.

Based in Omaha, Nebraska, A Place At Home is an established home care franchise network serving communities across the United States.

Dovida is a global provider of person-centered home care services operating across six international markets: Australia, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Switzerland.

A Place At Home’s leadership, including its founders and executive team, will continue guiding the organization to ensure continuity for franchise owners, caregivers and the families they serve. Following the acquisition, Dovida has established its North American headquarters in Omaha. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 21st Home Health & Hospice (HH&H) transaction announced in 2026. This also marks the first HH&H deal announced in Nebraska this year. There were 111 HH&H deals announced during full year (FY) 2025, 98 announced during FY 2024 and 100 announced during FY 2023.
