RadNet, Inc. announced that it has acquired the outpatient imaging assets of Northwest Radiology Network, P.C. The deal marks RadNet’s entry into Indiana and expands its presence into the Midwestern United States.

Northwest Radiology Network is a physician-led outpatient diagnostic imaging practice operating six multimodality outpatient centers across the Indianapolis, Indiana MSA. Founded in 1967, Northwest Radiology offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and screening services, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology and diagnostic X-ray. According to its website, the practice has 19 providers on staff.

RadNet, Inc. is a provider of freestanding, fixed-site diagnostic imaging services and related information technology solutions (including artificial intelligence) in the United States. RadNet has a network of 407 owned and/or operated outpatient imaging centers. RadNet’s markets include Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Texas. It was founded in 1985 and has more than 11,000 employees. In 2024, the company reported revenue of $1.83 billion and EBITDA of about $279.5 million.

According to the original deal press release, this acquisition is projected to add approximately $18 million of revenue on an annualized basis to RadNet. Financial terms were not disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, there have been 56 Physician Medical Group (PMG) transactions announced since the start of the year, including two radiology medicine deals. In 2025, there were 522 PMG deals announced, and three radiology deals.

This marks RadNet’s second acquisition of 2026. In January, the company announced the purchase of Radiology Regional, one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers in the Southeast United States. In 2025, the company announced 11 transactions across the PMG, Laboratories, MRI and Dialysis and Medical Device sectors.
