Chesapeake Urology announced on November 19 that it acquired Chesapeake Oncology-Hematology Associates. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. 

Chesapeake Oncology-Hematology Associates is a four-location oncology practice with four locations in Maryland. it operates out of Columbia, Annapolis, Stevensville and Glen Burnie. According to its website, there are five physicians and two advanced practice providers on staff. 

Chesapeake Urology provides a comprehensive array of urology services. It operates 28 medical offices and 18 AAAHC-certified ambulatory surgery centers across Maryland and southern Delaware. Its staff includes 87 physicians. It is an affiliate of United Urology Group, a specialty medicine management services organization supporting more than 250 providers.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 453rd Physician Medical Group (PMG) acquisition of 2025, and the eighth in the oncology specialty. There were 23 oncology deals reported in 2025, and 25 reported in 2023.
