Linden Capital Partners has acquired Spartanburg, South Carolina-headquartered Agape Care Group from Ridgemont Equity Partners for an undisclosed amount.
As a regional leader in hospice and palliative care, Agape Care Group’s more than 2,100 employees provide hospice and palliative care to more than 5,700 patients daily across 10 states. Ridgemont Equity Partners previously acquired the company from the private equity firm The Vistria Group in 2019.
Linden Capital Partners is a Chicago-based healthcare private equity firm exclusively focused on leveraged buyouts in the healthcare and life science industries.
The Agape acquisition took place in July 2025 but was not publicly announced. The hospice is now listed on Linden’s website as a portfolio company.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 91st Home Health & Hospice (HH&H) transaction announced in 2025. There were 97 HH&H deals announced during full year (FY) 2024, 100 announced during FY 2023 and 116 announced during FY 2022.
