DocGo Inc. announced that it has acquired St. Louis, Missouri-based SteadyMD, Inc., a virtual care platform with a presence in all 50 states.

SteadyMD powers telehealth experiences for digital health companies, labs, pharmacies, employers and other healthcare innovators. The company offers a 50-state virtual clinician workforce, clinical operations and technology that powers real-time matching between patient needs and clinical expertise. SteadyMD provides virtual care for top consumer, healthcare and digital wellness brands, including multiple Fortune 10 customers. SteadyMD is expected to service more than three million patients in 2025, and maintains a roster of more than 600 clinicians.

DocGo is a leading provider of last-mile mobile care services and integrated medical mobility solutions. With Mobile Health, DocGo empowers the full promise and potential of telehealth by facilitating healthcare treatment in tandem with a remote physician in the comfort of a patient’s home or workplace. Together with DocGo’s integrated Ambulnz medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care. DocGo merged with special purpose acquisition company Motion Acquisition Corp. in November 2021.

SteadyMD’s scaled network of virtual providers will enable DocGo to achieve more efficient delivery of patient care by pairing its mobile health clinicians in the field with SteadyMD’s clinical network. DocGo expects to fund the transaction through existing cash on its balance sheet. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TD Securities served as exclusive financial advisor, Polsinelli served as legal advisor and Alvarez & Marsal provided additional due diligence and strategic consulting services to DocGo. Goodwin Procter LLP served as legal advisor for SteadyMD.

This marks SteadyMD’s second acquisition of 2025. In February, the company acquired PTI Health, a mid-Atlantic mobile lab collection and phlebotomy services company. The purchase price for that transaction consisted of $4 million in cash consideration.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 255th eHealth acquisition of 2025, and the 43rd in the telehealth specialty. Telehealth is the second most active eHealth specialty of the year, following only revenue cycle management with 46 deals. The medical practice management software and analytics specialties follow close behind with 41 and 35 deals, respectively. The telehealth specialty makes up approximately 17% of all eHealth deals announced since January. There were 43 telehealth transactions reported throughout all of 2024.
