StaffDNA announced that it is enhancing its healthcare staffing division with the purchase of certain assets of Ethos Medical Staffing. These assets include all Ethos travelers on assignment, direct clients and its candidate database.
StaffDNA gives healthcare professionals complete career control for higher-paying opportunities and flexibility. Nursing, allied, therapy, physician and advanced practice professionals can view fully transparent pay and job details for travel, local, staff, per diem and locum tenens contracts, with no registration required.
In addition to the acquired assets, the deal automatically enables StaffDNA access to direct hire contracts at facilities that are currently working with Ethos. Working together, the two organizations will be increasing access to open roles for healthcare professionals while expanding StaffDNA’s footprint of clients nationwide.
StaffDNA also announced that Ethos CEO Jeff Stoner will be joining the StaffDNA executive team, as well as other key employees from its recruiting team. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This transaction follows StaffDNA’s June 2025 acquisition of the per diem staffing business of Kevala, a Seattle-based artificial intelligence-powered healthcare staffing platform.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 23rd Healthcare Staffing acquisition of 2025. There were 26 Healthcare Staffing deals announced throughout all of 2024.
