Station Partners, based in Morristown, New Jersey, announced that it led a growth investment in First Children Services (FCS). 

FCS is a leading provider of behavioral health and special education services to children and adolescents throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It provides a comprehensive continuum of care, taking an integrated approach to special education and therapeutic services. It serves more than 1,000 children. 

Station Partners is a private investment firm focused on making control and control-like investments in profitable U.S. businesses. Station Partners was formed to make transformative investments in concert with management teams leading lower middle market businesses with the potential for immediate growth. 

Provident Healthcare Partners advised FCS. Porzio Bromberg & Newman P.C. served as legal counsel to FCS, and Troutman Pepper Locke LLP served as legal counsel to Station. Terms were not disclosed. 

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 87th Behavioral Health Care (BHC) acquisition of 2025, and the 37th in the counseling and psychiatric care specialty. There were 18 counseling and psychiatric care transactions announced throughout 2024. 

So far in 2025, counseling and psychiatric care is the most active BHC specialty of the year, followed by substance use disorder treatment with 12 deals and autism spectrum disorder treatment with 10 deals.
