RethinkFirst announced on August 18 that it entered into an agreement to acquire Joshin. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Joshin, an employee assistance programs (EAP) provider, is a Minnesota-based provider of disability and neurodivergent support services.
RethinkFirst is a global health technology company providing cloud-based treatment tools, training and clinical support to employers, educators, payors and behavioral health professionals. Rethink serves more than 11 million employees worldwide, public-school districts and more than 96,000 individual behavioral healthcare providers.
The deal positions RethinkCare, RethinkFirst’s app, as an all-in-one platform for neurodiversity and disability support. It combines high-tech innovation that leverages evidence-based and clinically validated approaches with high-touch human support and navigation.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 72nd Behavioral Health Care acquisition of 2025, and the second in the EAP specialty. There were three EAP transactions announced during FY 2024, and one announced during FY 2023.
