Orchard Mental Health Group announced that it has acquired Maryland Counseling Associates, adding four new locations to its footprint and 31 clinicians to its clinical workforce. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Maryland Counseling Associates provides mental health services for children, adolescents and families in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Orchard Mental Health Group, formerly known as Quince Orchard Psychotherapy, offers in-person and virtual therapy, medication management, diagnostics and psychiatric services. Founded in 2015 and is based in Rockville, Maryland, the company merged with private equity firm The Graham Group in May 2023.
This marks the third acquisition by Orchard Mental Health Group in 2025. In February, it acquired GBCC Behavioral Health and Oasis Behavioral Health Urgent Care.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 59th Behavioral Health Care (BHC) acquisition of the year. There were 72 BHC deals announced during 2024, 84 announced during 2023 and 113 announced during 2022.
