HomeCentris Healthcare, LLC announced that it has completed the acquisition of Family First Home Healthcare. The acquisition closed on April 3, 2025, and HomeCentris has begun integrating Family First’s staff and operations into its network of regional care providers.
Family First Home Healthcare is a home care agency serving clients in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Family First provides non-medical personal care services to Medicaid and private pay clients.
Founded in 2000, HomeCentris Healthcare is an independent home and community-based care organization headquartered in Owings Mills, Maryland. The company provides its services to private pay clients, Medicaid waiver clients, Medicare clients, veterans and clients with other third-party payors. HomeCentris and its subsidiaries have operated since 2000.

HomeCentris expects to maintain Family First’s operations while bringing additional resources, technology and operational expertise to enhance its capabilities. As part of the integration, HomeCentris has appointed Family First staff member Nataay Howard to oversee the agency’s personal care operations. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 38th Home Health & Hospice (HH&H) transaction announced in 2025. There were 96 HH&H deals announced during full year (FY) 2024, 100 announced during FY 2023 and 115 announced during FY 2022.
