Kandu Health, Inc. and Neurolutions, Inc. announced on April 8 that the two companies have merged to form Kandu, Inc.
Founded in 2007, Neurolutions is a medical device company developing a platform of neurorehabilitation devices leveraging brain computer interface (BCI) technology. The company’s first product candidate, the IpsiHand Upper Extremity Rehabilitation System, or the IpsiHand System, is being developed for upper extremity rehabilitation in chronic stroke patients.
Kandu Health is a digital health company providing remote clinical support to stroke survivors and their care partners. The company was founded in 2021 and is based in Campbell, California.

Kandu, Inc. is now able to offer a truly integrated care experience that aligns with the needs of stroke survivors, healthcare providers and caregivers.”
The newly formed company expects to set a new standard of care for stroke recovery, accessible to patients and caregivers at home, with a first-in-kind end-to-end solution for stroke survivors, combining BCI technology with personalized telehealth services.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 25th Medical Device transaction of 2025. There were 87 Medical Device acquisitions announced during 2024, 112 announced in 2023 and 124 announced during 2022.
