Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry, based in Oxford, North Carolina, announced on March 25 that it was expanding its presence in its home state with the acquisition of two Night and Day Dental locations.
The two locations are in Concord and Independence, North Carolina. The number of physicians on staff at each location was not disclosed. Night and Day Dental has an additional nine locations throughout the state.
Founded in 2000, Riccobene Associates offers a comprehensive suite of dental services, ranging from cosmetic, dental implants, general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. It was acquired by Comvest Private Equity in 2024.
This represents Riccobene Associates’ first acquisition since it was purchased by Comvest. Terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 100th Physician Medical Group (PMG) acquisition of 2025, and the 46th in the dental specialty. Between January 1, 2024, and March 28, 2024, there were 142 PMG transactions reported, 63 of them in the dental specialty.
