On March 4, Pediatrica Health Group announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire Rainbow Pediatric Center for an undisclosed price.

Rainbow Pediatric Center is a group of pediatric practices owned and operated by Dr. Prasanthi Reddy. According to the original deal press release from March 4, 2025, the practice has four locations, 15 providers and a patient panel of approximately 12,000 kids.

Pediatrica Health Group is a multi-site, pediatric primary care organization providing equitable access to pediatric primary care. Pediatrica Health Group empowers and supports providers and health care teams with modern technologies and the resources needed to provide tailored patient care.

With the acquisition of Rainbow Pediatric Center, Pediatrica said that it will be putting in motion plans to create a next-generation care experience for patient families.

“When I first met with Pediatrica’s CEO, Roberto Palenzuela, I knew we had to collaborate. His vision for Pediatrica mirrored every value and goal I had spent the last 20 years building my practices around, only amplified – accessible, evidence-based care that puts patients first,” commented Dr. Reddy. “Starting early means we are creating healthier futures for every child and ultimately setting the stage for a generation of healthier adults.”

According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 71st Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025 and the second in the pediatrics specialty. Throughout 2024, there were three pediatric transactions reported.
