After a brief pause in deal making, CareCloud, Inc. is back in buying mode with an acquisition in the revenue cycle management (RCM) space. CareCloud announced the successful purchase of Mesa, LLC, doing business as MesaBilling, marking its first acquisition since Q2 2021.
MesaBilling is a Brookfield, Wisconsin-based company that is focused on making medical billing easier. The company reports financial, insurance carrier and patient claim information.
CareCloud is a publicly traded American healthcare information technology company that provides services to healthcare providers and hospitals. CareCloud’s suite of technology-enabled solutions helps clients increase financial and operational performance, streamline clinical workflows and improve the patient experience.
By leveraging its proprietary technology, including AI-powered RCM and automation tools, CareCloud plans to scale its platform to serve an even broader network of healthcare providers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 56th eHealth acquisition of 2025 and the ninth in the RCM specialty. There were 36 RCM transactions announced in 2024, 55 announced in 2023 and 66 announced in 2022.
