Out of these, 286 facilities are under full ownership, 178 have ownership stakes between 50% and 100%, and a minor segment of 4 facilities are between 5% to 50% ownership. This distribution showcases UnitedHealth’s strategic focus on consolidating its position within the healthcare space.
State-Wise Facility Distribution
Operating predominantly in the home health subsector with 357 facilities, UnitedHealth also affiliates with 107 hospice providers, eight hospitals and one skilled nursing facility. Louisiana leads with 50 home health facilities, followed by Florida (36) and Tennessee (35).
